Well... we have a very adventurous group of seniors here! In less than a week our seniors went from our state capitol to our Nation's Capitol! They had a dream to see the cherry blossoms and they did it!
It was a cold and blustery day but they seemed to have enjoyed themselves! At least they thought of us here and sent pictures.

In celebrating Senior Nutrition Month this month, we can't go without recognizing the ladies here at the Franklin Senior Center that do the behind-the-scenes action in getting everything made and yummy! They work diligently to get the meals made and put together to ensure that our seniors (both congregate and home delivery) have a nutritious and filling meal each and every day!

In March, we celebrate the national Senior Nutrition Program! This program has been in place in 1972 and we are very proud here at the Franklin Senior Center to play a part in that in Pendleton County!
