🪿 Granny Goose here! I just have to tell you all about yesterday's wonderful adventure. What a day it was! Yesterday, a group of our seniors enjoyed a fantastic day trip filled with beautiful scenery, delicious food, and wonderful company!
Their adventure began with a visit to Carter Mountain Orchard, followed by a delicious Southern-style buffet lunch at Michie Tavern ca. 1784. After lunch, they toured Monticello, the historic home of Thomas Jefferson, before making one final stop for ice cream at Smiley's—because there's always room for ice cream! 🍦
A heartfelt thank you to Hott Insurance for sponsoring the cost of the bus, to their wonderful driver Lori for taking such great care of everyone, and to PVTA for providing safe, reliable transportation.
Thank you to everyone who travelled and made another day of friendship, fun, and great memories. 🚌💙 Until our next adventure...
