💐☕ What a beautiful morning at our Mother’s Day Tea here at the senior center! Today we celebrated all the amazing ladies who have been blessed with the title of “Mother” with laughter, friendship, sweet treats, and beautiful music from the talented Dulcimer Dames! 🎶
Our guests enjoyed beautiful table settings with delicious finger sandwiches, tasty sweets, hot tea, and wonderful fellowship — and every lady went home with a special gift just for her. 💝
We also had a few special rose presentations during the party! 🌹
✨ Wanda received a rose for being the oldest mother in attendance
✨ Margarette received a rose for having the most children
✨ Nichelle received a rose for being the youngest mother joining us today
And congratulations to Martha for winning our very special Mother’s Day Tea door prize! 🎁
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make today so special. We loved celebrating these incredible women! 💕

Today, just before lunch, our senior center was filled with music and joy as one of our talented seniors sat down at our newly donated piano—now beautifully tuned—and shared a few songs for all to enjoy. What started as a simple moment quickly turned into a heartwarming sing-along, with others joining in and lifting their voices together. It was a wonderful reminder of how music brings people together, creating connection, smiles, and lasting memories. We are so grateful for the gift of this piano and the happiness it is already bringing to our community. ... See MoreSee Less

Yesterday evening, we were pleased to welcome Pendleton Community Care’s Sharon Deel, FNP-C, to the senior center for an informative presentation on Alzheimer’s and Dementia. This event was open to the entire community, and we were glad to see so many people come out to join us.
We would also like to extend a big thank you to Shop ‘n Save Express for providing the beautiful fruit and vegetable trays—they were greatly appreciated!
If you missed this presentation, be sure to keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates. We hope to continue offering these types of educational sessions throughout the year, featuring a variety of important and engaging topics for our community.
